BRIG CAFE
The Café is a vibrant new space envisioned by our young activists, building on 30 years of climate activism within the Birmingham Friends of the Earth community. We’re creating a welcoming environment that serves a variety of fresh, fair-trade coffees and teas, along with locally sourced vegetarian breads, cakes, and pies. This will be a place where people who care about Birmingham’s future can gather, connect, and enjoy good food.
By day, the Café will be a warm, inviting space, perfect for students, remote workers, and anyone looking for a cozy spot to work or relax. With free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating, it’s an ideal drop-in workspace and café.
And by night, the Café transforms into an inclusive venue for evening events. Whether it’s activist meetings, live music, spoken word performances, poetry readings, or book clubs, our space will be a cultural and intellectual hub. Here, discussions about climate justice, social justice, and artistic expression will come together.
